How To Apply

2020-21 Applicants

If you are interested in rolling admission for entry in the 2020-21 school year, please contact the Admission Office (781-489-1331 or admission@danahall.org) to inquire about available spaces for your entry grade before starting your application in Ravenna.

2021-22 Applicants

We are currently updating our application process and forms in order to ensure that you have the best experience possible when you apply in the fall. Dana Hall's 2021-22 application will launch in August, and we will notify families on our mailing list to let them know when the application is available. You can review the steps below or download our Application Checklist to get a sense of Dana Hall's application process and requirements before we launch in August.

  • Create an Online Account

Ravenna is our web-based application system. Once you set up your account, you will have access to a detailed list of steps and requirements, and you will be able to submit materials, register for events, track your application status, and view decisions.

Make sure to create your account using a parent email address that you will have access to throughout the admission season, as this will be your primary email contact with our School.

    CREATE AN ACCOUNT:

    1. Go to Ravenna Hub and select "Create an Account."
    2. Enter a parent/guardian name, parent/guardian email address, and password.
    3. Ravenna will send a verification email to your account.
    4. Click the link in your email to complete your Ravenna profile.
    5. Click the green "Apply" button and follow the prompts to begin the application process to Dana Hall. Once you have created your account and started your application to Dana Hall, you will see a detailed list of application steps and requirements, and can begin submitting application materials.

  • Schedule an Interview

Every applicant is required to interview with a member of the Admission staff, and applicants must complete the interview process prior to February 1. For applicants who do not live in the area and/or are unable to visit campus, Zoom or SKYPE interviews may be arranged. Admission decisions are made only after all application materials are received and an interview is completed.

Before calling to schedule your interview, make sure you have started your application in Ravenna Hub.

Applicants who interview by February 1 and submit their application by January 15 will receive decision notification on March 10. Late applicants will be considered on a rolling admission basis, depending on space availability.

"Dana offers many great opportunities including a trip to South Africa every other year. I never in my wildest dreams thought I’d be visiting South Africa, let alone with some of my closest friends. The trip enabled us to interact with real South Africans as they experienced their real lives, an opportunity I could never have had as a tourist."
